Modern Suburb Tileset

This is a vibrant, colorful tileset for building suburban town environments for games like Earthbound or Animal Crossing. There are 2 versions of the tileset available when you purchase. One with diagonal tiles and one without them.

If you are new to game development and level building, I would recommend using the tileset without diagonal tiles (modern_suburb_tileset.png). It still looks great and is much easier to work with. In fact, I would recommend this one to most people.

If you want more freedom in your level design (and like a challenge) then you should use the tileset with diagonal tiles (modern_suburb_tileset_with_diagonals.png).
